June 15th is officially "Pamela Althoff McNeill Day" in Winona, MN!

You wanna hear something kinda crazy? And pretty cool...! But mostly crazy? My hometown City Council wrote a proclamation yesterday declaring that Saturday, June 15th will be "Pamela Althoff McNeill" day in Winona!!! WHAT??!!??!!

Seriously - I'm incredibly honored and excited to come back "home" that weekend for Winona Steamboat Days! I get to have dinner with Miss America, Miss Minnesota, Miss Wisconsin and Miss Winona Steamboat Days on Saturday! And then head to the Beer Garden where my dear friends and band mates The Fabulous Armadillos are performing that night with the Party Band! I'm going to sing 3 songs with them! And then I'm going to drink some beer and hang out so I hope some of my fellow Winona friends can come as well. I'd love to see you!!!

On Sunday I get to be in the parade!!! I think Bruce is going to be in the corvette with me!!! So I've been practicing my parade wave... Anyway - this year has been surreal and I'm so very grateful for all of the love and support!

Winona Steamboat Days was a major and cherished time of my youth so this feels really special to me. I'll be sharing some photos next week from some of my favorite SBD memories. Thanks to the Winona Steamboat Days committee for making this gal feel so special!!! See you soon!

I couldn't be there last night to accept the proclamation so my wonderful Mom represented! Check out the photo.
